Sweet Berry Farms LLC is owned and operated by Bill and Kari McGinn.
Our family purchased the property and started what would soon become known as Sweet Berry Farms, LLC in May 2020.
The purchase was a part of a five-year plan that started in 2015 with a goal of learning as much as we could from the best u-pick operators in the Southeast USA and to bring that knowledge back to Williston, Florida where we met in high school over 40+ years ago.
Along our journey we learned from several blackberry growers as well as from industry trade groups and agriculture professionals from both the University of Arkansas and the University of Florida.
Where We Are Today
What started as a u-pick blackberry farm has grown into something more: an edible and native plant and tree nursery serving North Central Florida. We grow fruit trees, berry plants, and Florida native plants selected to thrive in our heat, soils, and seasons — and we help our customers plant them with confidence.
We are proud to be a veteran-owned and operated farm, strong supporters of our local community, and even prouder to help grow the plants that feed your families and your pollinators.
