PICKING CONTAINERS

  • Picking buckets lined with bags are provided at the check-in kiosk. The bags go with the customer and the bucket stays with the farm at check-out.
  • We offer Sweet Berry Farms "blackberry boxes" which can be purchased for $1.00 each.  These boxes are very durable and can be re-used for future visits to the farm at no additional charge.

BEING CLEAN & HEALTHY

  • Clean hands, buckets and containers are needed before going out to the field.
  • We provide hand washing stations and a port-a-potty for your convenience.
  • There is also hand sanitizer available at the check-in and check-out kiosks.
  • We clean our buckets after each customer use.
  • Farms are dusty and dirty, but we clean areas that are touched most often as time allows.
  • Cold water is available to drink at the check-out station.
  • We recycle and ask that you dispose of empty bottles in our blue recycling garbage cans.

PARKING

  • We have designated areas for parking, ask for assistance from staff if necessary because we cannot block thoroughfares. Staff will let you know if any areas are off limits.

WHAT TO BRING, WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME

  • It's ideal to dress for the weather and expect dirty shoes, so decide what footwear will work for you and your family.
  • It is suggested that you wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
  • Almost every field is wide open to the sky, so sunscreen and hats are a good idea.
  • No food is allowed in fields besides water, anything else will attract pests if spilled.
  • We are a non-smoking farm so tobacco use is not welcome at the farm.
  • We enjoy pets and other animals, but for the safety of them, our crops and our customers, it is better if you leave them safe at home.  Service Dogs are welcome as long as they are behaving as trained.
